Rosy and I had a great time and got the shopping done for another month.
The green and brown is my new chair, it’s Mission style and I love it! The grey box up front on the right is my new printer. (I hope I can figure out how to hook it up!) and all the rest of the space is filled with groceries. My suitcase is seat-belted in the passenger seat up front! It is one dirty car but there isn’t any point in running thought the washer this time of year. And when I came out of Wally World in Yreka there were a set of three, red, white and blue and they all looked just alike… country cars! :laugh: I should have gotten that picture.
I did find some great loom bags which I’ll be offering on the web page soon. Unfortunately they didn’t have a size to fit your bigger looms but they’ll be handy totes for your Quilt Weaver and Tiny Weaver sets!
So Now I guess I’d better go empty the car. I got the Gramma sitter paid and the fire built and the important email answered. I’d rather take a nap but… 😛

I decided to take some pics of that “texture” snow, just for fun, and when I downloaded the photo of the hood of my car I found, to my delight, Real Snowflakes! I had to rush back out and, sure enough, if I looked closely I could actually see them when they lay in a single layer there against the red. This is so neat I just wanted to share it! I’ve clogged up my whole families email programs with gobs of photos but I’ll just post one here. :laugh: But this is just too ‘cool’! There is blue in the sky now but the flakes are still drifting down. I bet I could count them as they fall! And they are so light and dry that you can’t even call it falling. More like floating down. Well, I feel like a kid, but what a lovely discovery for a cold Friday morning!:P

Quite unlike the east coast, we are getting what sis termed “texture” this morning. The snow is so fine and light I can hardly see it falling but it’s gradually turning things white. The temps are up a good 10 degrees from yesterdays 16. for which I give thanks! :laugh:I know there hasn’t been much fiber related here lately but my weaving is a ‘secret’ so far, I’m not ready to share that, my knitting has been hardly progressing, I have been busy, but just the regular boring things of life in the country.

And I’m having problems with my printer… :angry: …it looks like they’ll be a new one here next week. So, I guess that’s about it. Just wanted to say… I’m still here, if anyone was wondering. 😎

Just an example of the excitement this week. In sweeping my kitchen porch, I discovered that in a few years I’m going to have a nice black and white wool carpet there. it started as a scrap of indoor/outdoor- the green stuff- but it’s where Jack spends a lot of time and tho he sheds pretty much year round, in spring it’s prodigious! Some came up but most of it just packs into the green stuff and hangs on tightly! Well, I think it’ll be unique. Maybe. Come to think of it, the carpet in the studio is beginning to look like that, too. Taz is also shedding! I guess it’s a good thing we’re all used to “fiber” around here!

Other than that, there are little green things poking optimistically up out of the mud. I’ve been raking the leaves I hadn’t raked last fall. Tho the nights are still in the mid-20’s the days are sometimes hitting 70! Whoo! I needed that!
