We are once again at home in the Trinity Nat’l Forest here in North California. Glad to be home but we had a wonderful time and I’ll be anxious to go again in awhile! This is a photo taken in Utah. We visited the Arches Park and drove down the Colorado River Canyon in Utah, too. You can look at pictures all day and you’ll never know what this place is like until you actually go there yourself. The impact of it is incredible. It’s overwhelming. It’s beautiful and terrifying all at the same time. It boggles the mind how this landscape could have come about. You read about the geological forces at work, but… dang! That just doesn’t cover it!
In any case, the colors, too, are incredible and I collected quite a few baggies of dirt for my dirty pictures. Increased my range of colors by about half. Still looking for a good blue mud. If any of you know where I might find some…? 😉
But for now we’re back making looms and filling orders for some very patient weavers!
Thank you all! 😀
